Who we are

SUS, LLC ("Sus.Dog", "we", "us") operates the online store at https://shop.sus.dog (and related pages such as the Wheel of SUS at https://wheel.sus.dog), including the information, products and services offered there (the "Services").

For applicable data protection laws, SUS, LLC is the data controller of your personal information for the Services, except where a provider (for example Shopify) acts as an independent controller for its own products as described in that provider’s privacy policy.

If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy about personal information, this Privacy Policy controls.

What this policy covers

This policy describes how we collect, use, share and retain personal information when you visit the store, place an order, pay with card or with crypto (SUS or DOGE), take part in the Wheel of SUS, or otherwise contact us.

Personal information we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect or process:

Contact and order details — name, email, phone, billing and shipping address, and messages you send us (for example support requests or Wheel of SUS mail-in entries).

Order and transaction details — items viewed or purchased, cart contents, returns/cancellations, payment method (for example card via Shopify Payments / Shop Pay / Apple Pay, or crypto (SUS or DOGE)), payment confirmation, and discount or promo codes used.

Crypto payment details (Sus Pay) — when you choose to pay with crypto (SUS or DOGE), our Sus Pay service may process quote and payment records such as cart contents and amounts, your device IP address, the store payment address shown to you, payment status, and on-chain transaction identifiers. Wallet addresses and transaction data you use on a public blockchain are public by nature.

Wheel of SUS details — when you get a spin (from a paid order, a free mail-in entry, or a free-spin grant), we process information needed to run the promotion: Shopify order id and order number (if any), email address (to send your spin link and related messages), a one-way hash of your email, spin results, and prize / promo codes. Raw email kept only to send a queued message is cleared after send or skip; a hash may be kept for support and abuse prevention. Official rules: https://shop.sus.dog/pages/wheel-of-sus-rules

Device and usage information — IP address, browser and device information, and how you use the site (pages, cart actions), including via cookies and similar technologies.

Local device storage — the storefront may save short-lived data in your browser (for example Sus Pay quote/credit state and shipping-region preference) so checkout can continue on that device.

We do not require a customer account to shop. If Shopify customer accounts are used in the future, account credentials would be handled through Shopify’s account features.

We do not operate a separate wishlist or product-review product on the store today.

Sources

  • You — checkout, Sus Pay, Wheel of SUS (including mail-in), emails and forms.
  • Automatically — cookies, pixels and similar tools on the site, and server logs on our Workers.
  • Service providers — for example Shopify (store, checkout, payments), Printful (print-on-demand fulfillment), Cloudflare (hosting for Sus Pay and Wheel of SUS), and our email provider (Titan) when we send mail from SusMerch@Sus.Dog.

How we use personal information

  • Provide the Services: take and fulfill orders, process payments (card or crypto), arrange shipping, handle returns, and provide customer support.
  • Run the Wheel of SUS: issue spins, send spin-link and related emails, mint and validate prize codes, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep promotion records.
  • Security and fraud prevention for the store, Sus Pay and the Wheel.
  • Marketing and promotional email only where permitted (for example when you opt in at checkout or elsewhere). You can unsubscribe using the link in those emails. We may still send non-promotional messages about orders, shipping, Sus Pay, or your Wheel spin/prize.
  • Comply with law, taxes, accounting and lawful requests; enforce our terms and policies.

How we share personal information

We share personal information with service providers that help us run the store, including:

Provider Role (high level)

Printful Manufactures and ships print-on-demand products using the order and shipping details needed to fulfill.
Cloudflare Hosts our Sus Pay and Wheel of SUS Workers and related databases used to process quotes, spins and codes.
Titan Sends email from SusMerch@Sus.Dog (for example Wheel of SUS spin links and other store messages we send that way).

We may also share information:

  • When you ask us to (for example to ship an order).
  • To comply with law or protect rights, safety and security.
  • In connection with a business transfer (for example a merger), subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal information for money. Shopify and advertising features on the platform may involve “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising as those terms are defined under some U.S. state laws. Where required, you can opt out here: https://shop.sus.dog/pages/data-sharing-opt-out

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, Shopify may treat that as an opt-out for that browser as described in our live policy / Shopify’s tools.

We do not currently run separate third-party ad pixels (for example Meta or Google Ads tags) on the storefront beyond Shopify’s own storefront analytics and privacy tooling. That can change; if we add them we will update this policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our providers (especially Shopify) use cookies, local storage, session storage and similar technologies to run the site, keep your cart and Sus Pay state, remember shipping-region preferences, measure traffic and help with security and fraud prevention. Shopify may show a privacy / cookie banner where required.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may break checkout or Sus Pay.

Children’s information

The store sells products that may be bought for children, but the Services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the age of majority where that is higher for the activity).

Wheel of SUS is only for people who are at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live, if older), as stated in the Official Rules. Do not submit a Wheel mail-in entry for a minor.

International transfers and where we ship

We ship to the United States, Canada and the EU-27 only. Providers we use (including Shopify, Printful, Cloudflare and Titan) may process data in the United States and other countries.

If we transfer personal information out of the EEA (or other regions with similar rules), we rely on appropriate mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision where available, unless another lawful basis applies.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including:

  • Order, payment, tax and accounting records as required by law.
  • Sus Pay quote and payment records as needed to credit payments, prevent reuse of transactions and handle reviews.
  • Wheel of SUS records (spins, codes, email hashes, outbox metadata) for the life of the promotion, code expiry, fraud prevention and support. Spin links and prize codes expire on the schedules in the Official Rules (generally 30 days from issue, unless stated otherwise).

When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where practicable.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (including U.S. state privacy laws and, for EEA residents, GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port or restrict certain personal information, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent where we rely on consent, and to opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity (and an agent’s authority, if someone requests on your behalf) before fulfilling a request.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to our size and the Services (including HTTPS and access controls on admin tools). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be highlighted as required by law.
